This hotel of character is a former 18th century convent and was Macon's first great hotel. In its time it has hosted many famous visitors, including Queen Victoria and the Aga Khan. It is situated on the main through road, the RN6, overlooking the river. The spacious rooms are soundproofed and nicely furnished. The entire hotel was renovated in 2002. Closed private parking (6 Euros).
